A couple of month ago I did the first version of the horror game U55. In Berlin are huge rail constructions because the public transportation company like to have U5 and U55 connected together. But the story of the game will show what can happen if you open a place to an unknown world…
The office of any company needs some design every now and then. And while I was at School for Games this year I also renewed some school and examination regulations, redesigned the business corespondents and I created new things that might be needed in the near future.
It’s always a pleasure for me to work for School for Games, because many very special and good designs happen then. This time I worked on the redesign for the brochure and a workshop flyer that needed to be finished for the great Gamescom in Cologne in 2013. We decided to change the colors and to fit many elements to one design so that people see, this belongs together, this is School for Games. Blue is a nice, fresh color that also puts out the famous orange of School for Games. And as you can see, the orange does its job better to catch the focus of the eye for special information.

there is this awesome game jam every now and then and this time I thought I have time, now I have to participate.
People with their talents come together and create small games which they present afterwards.
Our team decided to use Construct 2 because we were a small team and we chose a difficult topic.
Dark science and making the character interesting instead of the game.
So here are some screen shots:
And here you can try the game by yourself.
But remember: We only had a couple of hours to make this game and we were a small team.
And someday this game might be not available to play, because I might delete it to have more space on my Dropbox.
There is a lot of bad stuff going on the world. A lot of poverty. Even in Germany where I live. But some people like to help them and the radio channel of Gitta Peyn is one opportunity to get some help, especially about the social system in Germany. I´m happy to help as well with my skills, making a design and giving the help some kind of a face so that people remember that they can get help here. Gitta Peyn really likes the design. The design, which is vintage because the radio is vintage, reminds her of music from the 60s.
I saw a play a couple of weeks ago and it fascinated me very much. It´s about Oedipus the drama of Sophocles and ancient Greek writer. Creon a character who became the King of Thebes and he would never betray his own words and rules He was played by a woman. And it was so ridiculous because in that time men never took the word of a woman serious. Women were not allowed to have an own opinion and to raise their word against a man or even the king. And there was a woman playing that king which was really great and funny as well.
I recommend it to everybody.
